Lahasil was the first novel of Umera Ahmed which has been dramatized by Humtv the one of very first project of Humtv of its initial period is drama ne Humtv ko boom diya aur star plus ke un dramas ka zor tora jin ki dekha dekhi Geo and Ary ne bhi star plus jese dramas banana start kr diye thay Lahasil ke baad novel based dramas ks silsila chal nikla lahasil Fahad Mustafa ke career a first drama tha as a main lead Lahasil is one of those story which i can never forget in my whole life it is story of a western women who used to be a call girl in her past and then converted to Islam for a Pakistani Muslim man in his love but when the guy came to know about her past he left her and took the son with him but she never reverted to her old religion and she comes to Pakistan for her son but couldn’t find him and gets married to a poor man and started living a Muslimah life and became pure Muslim and she started living for Allah and her Love and tawakkal on Him is a great lesson!! The story while having a strong moral overtone, is still quite nice to read with likable characters, a little too black-and-white they are. A predictable story by Umera Ahmed
I loved her spiritual journey and I learned how you have to remain thanking Allah nomatter what, because He always knows the be contains spoilers Umera Ahmed’s novels are classics. The dream sequence of Mariam is jux amaxing.

As always like Umera Ahmed’s other novels, La Hasil began capturing scenes of many characters and with expert-hands she gently tied them together towards the end. Jan 01, Noha rated it it was amazing. Driven by desire, belief, pride and prejudice, they run their lives according to their views. True, I hated Mariam from the beginning and in every scene she appeared but I was more intrigued towards the relationship of mother and her son. Dramz Supporting, Cheers, Zahra Mirza.

Well, the character I hated the most in this muera was of Asim Mazhar’s friend: But Laahasil has a special place in my heart as this novel revolves around the negative desires of a human heart. La-Hasil has yet again made me think and realise the purpose of my life and where I stand. This is an amazing novel. It’s about the true meaning of Islam, the true values Muslims should stick to, that Islam is more than just ink printed on your passport.

A must-read n Umera Ahmed did it again. Once Umerz started reading it, I couldn’t even close the book till I finished it in just a single night. For the first time in a along time I finished a book in a matter of days, I definitely could have finished it in deama matter of hours but I wanted to cling on to every single word.
Mazhar, a seemingly practicing Muslim, is a self proclaimed caretaker of Islam.

A real depiction of true love. Its indeed as perfect as the author claims it to be and to be very honest I didn’t and probably will never find those words that can best describe my feelings for the book.
