Seats recline about 2 inches, that’s it. No carry-on luggage to wrangle on the way to your seat as there is a drop-off at the plane and your luggage is stowed for you and retrieved upon exiting. Who cares if it isnt right in the city Actually the Q feels very cramped everywhere. Seat has 2 Windows, quiet and deplane first. Porter flies 1 versions of Bombardier Q Alaska Horizon staff, awesome! Very poor seat design, a shame for a new aircraft.
Though you are at the front of the plane with easy access, you have to awkwardly stare at the people in 2D and 2F, and basically everyone on the plane gets to stare at you the entire flight. Moved to 3D and this was a better setting. Quick down the runway and quick to rotate and take flight. I paid extra for pkys but the seats are no different from any of the others. Air Canada’s are much better. Also, the Q is boarded from both the front and back so you will be one of the first people off the plane. This Bombardier Q is relatively fast, quiet, and offers leather seats with a couple more inches of legroom than found on most other planes of this type. First to enter and exit the plane.
Do you know this plane? I will avoid this aircraft whenever possible. Makes for a quick exit too on arrival and you have the room under the seat in front that Row 1 lacks.
de Havilland Dash 8 (300)
Liked it better than the ATR as the plane is quieter, more comfortable and the flight quicker. The seats in the last two rows are generally more quiet since they are farthest from the propellers.
The Q is kinda squishy, so I recommend sitting as far back as possible so the plane “feels” bigger. Seat 24 A is in the last row of the plane and has 1″ less legroom than other seats in this plane. This Bombardier Q is relatively fast, quiet, and offers a couple more inches of legroom than found on most other planes of this type.
Seat 21 B is a standard Economy Class seat in the last row of the plane. Great seats noise level is very good in the q Sit near the back, away from the prop engines, and you’ll enjoy the quiet.
Overview This Bombardier Q is relatively fast, quiet, and offers leather seats with a couple more inches of legroom than found on most other planes of this type. This is THE most uncomfortable, noisy plane I have ever been on. Please choose the correct version from the list: As this is an exit row, there is not much storage room besides the overhead bin. seatgueu

This version is configured in a format and is flying with 78 seats seires Economy Class. The only drawback is no recline, but I don’t recline my seat so its no big deal to me.
I travel quite frequently and used to plan my trips in order to avoid this pkane.
It’s my new happy place. Although this aircraft has a 2×2 arraignment, the Q offers ample headroom compared to other regional jets thanks to its taller cabin design and offers leather seating as well, however, none of the seats on this aircraft seeies.
Ive flown many times on these aircraft,it does exactly what it says on the tin, it is a good aircraft it gets you to where your going, its quite comfortable, and the crew do a great job in looking after you on the flight,Im quite happy to use these when ever im flying on internal UK flights.
Seat 16 D is a standard Economy Class seriee, however the noise from the engine and propellers can be loud and bothersome.
de Havilland Dash 8-300 (DH3)
A wide selection of snacks, sandwiches, soups, sweets, breakfast items, teas, coffees, soft drinks, beer, wine, and spirits are available. This setguru did not have extra legroom due to the proximity of the bulkhead.
Traveler photos 1 View all. Please enter a valid email address. I am male, 6′ 4″, lbs. The seats are thin, which means that at 30″ pitch, they seem better that the same pitch in the with thicker seats.

Austrian flies 1 versions of Bombardier Q Standard Economy Rows What I like about the last row is it’s quiet, as it’s furthest row from the engines and there is no-one sitting behind you to kick the back of the seat. Noise from the turbo props were not intrusive so we didn’t mind it all. Can’t believe there are so many positive comments on this torture machine–must have come from folks on the shorter side. The last two rows are served first before the beverage cart moves to the front to begin service to the rest of the passengers.
Both sides of the seat are solid to accommodate the tray tables, making it the most narrow seat I have ever been in. Who cares if it isnt right in the city Seat 12 A is an Economy Class seat with a restricted view from dhcc-8 window due to the wing and engine. No Tvs or anything fancy.
